Coleman Weimer | Writer, Director

Coleman Weimer is a an Iowa-born filmmaker raised in Thailand, who earned his MFA at USC where he was awarded the Annenberg Fellowship. Coleman’s films have shown at the Berlin Indie Film Festival, Tacoma Film Festival, and other international festivals. His most short film, Multo, is set to premiere at 2026 Palm Springs International Short Film Festival.

Zachary Zamsky | Lead Actor

Zachary Zamsky is a New York City born, bred and based actor-writer-director. Recent film credits from this LaGuardia HS and Boston University alum include Blue Sun Palace (Constance Tsang, Cannes), Ann Lee (Mona Fastvold), The Threshing (Sean Mannion), Pet Shop Days (Olmo Schnabel, Venice), Pocket Dream (Sam Guest and Julia Baylis), Fan Fiction (Ben Lederman, Palm Springs Intl. Shortfest) and Union County (Adam Meeks, Berlinale). He is excited to be premiering his directorial debut short film titled This Time for Real, in which he is the lead role. His stage credits include Laertes/Player King/etc. in Hamlet at Gloucester Stage Company, Mason in What Came Up from Mason’s Hole at the Paradise Factory, and Murray Brenfarb in a self-produced-directed-written piece titled Stallions.

Rob Rice | Producer

Rob Rice is a filmmaker from western Massachusetts, based in LA. He did an MFA at CalArts and, before changing careers, worked as a CRISPR engineer at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. His second feature, Ponderosa (Tribeca 2026), stars Jack Dylan Grazer, Alexis Bledel, and Bill Camp. His feature debut, Way Out Ahead of Us, was produced by Matt Porterfield and premiered at the 2022 FIDMarseille before going on to screen at RIDM, UNDERDOX, Black Canvas, São Paulo and many others.

His recent work as a producer includes Tyler Taormina’s Christmas Eve in Miller’s Point (Cannes 2024, starring Michael Cera, Greg Turkington, and Francesca Scorsese), Lucy Kerr’s Family Portrait (Locarno 2023, co-writer, co-producer), and the debut feature from Advik Beni. In 2023, he also AD’d Room Temperature, the new film from Dennis Cooper and Zac Farley.

Jacob Pincus | Producer

Jacob Pincus is a filmmaker, artist, and organizer living in Los Angeles, CA. After dropping out of USC film school, Pincus began working on his first feature documentary, I Don’t Know What I’m Doing Here, about a road trip through Romania with his dear friend in search of her lost family history. Pincus owns Cove Films, a film production company, and is the executive director of Our Art Fund, a nonprofit organization dedicated to funding artists and their work. Pincus also serves as the Assistant Producer at New Theater Hollywood, presenting various forms of live performance with renowned artists and theatermakers from around the world.

Ted Taekeun Kim | Producer

Ted Taekeun Kim is a recent graduate from USC’s Peter Stark Producing Program. Prior to USC, he worked as an assistant at Authentic Literary & Talent Management in New York and co-founded a music video/commercials company in Brooklyn, named Souvenir Media. His short films have won awards at BIFAN and the Asian American International Film Festival, and have screened at Vancouver International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.

Surui Guo | Director of Photography

Surui Guo is a Cinematographer, Writer, and Director based in Los Angeles. Originally from Chengdu, China, he is passionate about telling intimate stories of personal struggle and exploring the conflict and confluence of diverse cultures.

His dedication to visual storytelling has led him to collaborate on projects across China, the Philippines, and the United States. 

Surui views cinema as the art of sculpting time, where light and sound shape its existence—a philosophy that drives his creative approach to filmmaking.
